What is an MOT test & what is covered in the MOT test?
An MOT test is a road safety measure introduced by the Ministry of Transport as a means of ensuring that all vehicles on the road, which are over 3 years old, are roadworthy, properly maintained and meet the minimm safety and environmental standards.
If you have a vehicle that is three or more years old, you are legally required to have an MOT test undertaken annually at an approved MOT testing station.
An MOT test covers a variety of components in your vehicle, such as lamps, indicators, steering, suspension, brakes, tyres, wheels, seatbelts, windscreen, washers & wipers, exhausts, emissions, mirrors, bodywork and many more.
